Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 自然科學教育學系碩士班 === 96 === The purpose of this study was to investigate the environmental awareness, knowledge, attitudes, action skills and action experiences of the 5th or 6th grade of THE Elementary School Students in Penghu County and Kaohsiung City areas of Penghu emigrants. A questionnaire developed by the researcher was used as the research tool to collect related data. By means of cluster sampling, 832 students of the 5th and 6th grade in Kaohsiung City and Penghu County were taken as survey samples. The data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics, One-Way ANOVA, T-test and Pearson product-moment correlation. The result is as follows:
1. As for grading on “Environmental Awareness” questionnaire, there are no large differences among different genders, students’ residential areas; however, there are significant differences among different grades and socioeconomic status. Students’ feedback on “Environmental Awareness” is considered satisfactory.
2. As for “Environmental Knowledge” questionnaire, there are no large differences among different grades, genders and socioeconomic status; however, there are significant differences among students’ residential areas. Students’feedback on “Environmental Knowledge” is also considered satisfactory.
3. As for “Environmental Attitudes” questionnaire, there are no large differences among different genders, socioeconomic status and students’ residential areas; however, there are significant differences among different grades. Students’ feedback on “Environmental Attitudes” is considered satisfactory.
4. As for “Environmental Action Skills” questionnaire, there are no large differences among different genders; however, there are significant differences among different grades, socioeconomic status and students’ residential areas. Students’ feedback on “Environmental Action Skills” is rather low.
5. As for “Environmental Action experiences” questionnaire, there are no large differences among different genders; however, there are significant differences among different grades, socioeconomic status and students’ residential areas. Students’ feedback on “Environmental Action experiences” is rather positive.
6. Among Kaohsiung City Students’ environmental awareness, knowledge, attitudes, action skills and action experiences are positively correlated. However, among Penghu County Students’ environmental knowledge, action skills and action experiences are no large correlated, environmental attitudes and action experiences, either. There are significant differences among others.
