Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 幼兒教育學系碩士班 === 96 === An action research is adopted to investigate the usage of drama strategies to promote the appreciation of drama/theatre arts in kindergarten. The purposes of the research are to explore the organization of the drama strategies in the curriculum, the teaching process and problems of the teacher, and the learning progress of the teacher and the students. The study result shows that the key points in organizing the curriculum lies in three factors:the Curriculum contents of the aesthetic education program, the choice of drama elements as the teaching objective, and the choice of the teaching materials for appreciating the theatre. Special attention needs to be paid on the compatibility between the features of the drama strategies and the chosen elements of drama for appreciation. Meanwhile, the management of time, steps and the responses of the students need to be considered when operating the strategies. From the performance of the students, it is obvious that the students gradually learn to appreciate theatre in its art forms, scaffolded-learning among the peers and multi- artistic creation also appear to be evident. In the process, the teacher researcher also made progress in different aspects including the organized of the theatre appreciation curriculum, the management of drama strategies, adjustment of teaching attitude and mood, and the ability to reflect in the teaching process of drama/theatre appreciation.
