The life education''s significance is: to inquire into the life significance, to promote the life value, to treasure the existing environment, and to create the infinite possibility. Generalize and analysis the life education''s connotation has “ethics morals orientation”, “the health life orientation”, “Orientation of Life & Death”, “the career orientation”, and “the religious orientation”.
This study focus on the elementary school stage''s life education, performing the content analysis on the different orientation connotation from eighty-five pictures books. This based on four kind of different orientation life education program connotation, by the subject, the content, the writing and the drawing performance, how the picture books to be utilized in the different orientation life education.
The result of finding: Because the picture book publications have both the quality and the quantity Orientation, so each orientations for life education has the suitable teaching picture books to utilize. The picture books play three kinds of role, such as to eagerly anticipate the child enter the life education domain, to the strong character for letting the life education thorough child inner world ,and the best intermediary material for life education.
This research based on the different attribute form picture books’ content to analyze the important meaning, and the drawing and article information. According to those attributes, we expect the picture book to be the reference resources of life education teaching for instructors.
