Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立清華大學 === 高階經營管理碩士在職專班 === 96 === The electronic manufacturing industries in Taiwan are mainly OEM (Original Equipment Manufactures) and ODM (Original Design Manufactures). Since the major international customers push hard for cost down and precise delivery, it will be a must to implement VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) into the upstream supplier, control the costs and avoiding unnecessary stock & risk of shortage. As most of the components are customized, some specific and unique matters need to be take into consideration when implemented VMI. Base on paper study & experiences, this research summarizing the factors which will affect electronic manufacturing industries' introduced VMI into 4 categories (including 87 items) as item categories, management mechanism, laws & regulations and information technology according to 4 composition factors which are industry uniqueness, internal environment, external environment and assistance tools. Then use the Cause and Effect Diagram to analyze relationship between the efficiency of VMI introduction and the factors mentioned above, and finally summarized it into 12 models. In the end, the ways of VMI introduction will be divided into 9 steps, with a specific case as an example to explain how to use these reference models and introduction steps efficiently.
