Summary: | 碩士 === 國立清華大學 === 電機工程學系 === 96 === The objective of this research is to investigate the relationships between the autonomic nervous system and the pulse waves during micturition. The topic includes the dynamic changes of pulse wave signals, fractal dimension of pulse wave signals, differentiated fractal dimension of pulse wave signals, HR, and HRV. Six healthy volunteers with no neurological conditions participated in this study. A total of 23 trials were obtained before, during and after micturition. In order to minimize artifacts, all experimental subjects remained still during the experiments. The results of the experiments are as follows:
(1) The time-series signals of pulse waves oscillate during micturition.
(2) The major frequency of radial arterial pulse waves are centralized in LF (0.04-0.15Hz) and/or HF (0.15-0.4Hz) bands before and after micturition. During micturition, the major activities of the frequency are in the LF band. And the major activities of frequencies of dorsal pedis artery are in HF and/or LF bands before and after micturition. During micturition, the major activities of the frequency are still in LF band. However, the main frequency band is centered around 0.025-0.05Hz.
(3) During the micturition, the fractal dimension would decrease. Some of them even presented a “W” shape.
(4) The differentiated fractal dimension of the radial arterial pulse waves increased during the micturition.
(5) There is no obvious change in HR and HRV signals during micturition.
We will analyze the physiological signals and investigate the relationships between these signals and autonomic nervous system.
