Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺中教育大學 === 早期療育研究所 === 96 === This research aims to explore the experience of poor family access resources in early intervention. On the one part, this research hopes to present the powerlessness of poor family in the experience of access formal resources, and the access and consciousness of internal and informal resources. On the other part,this research also hopes to supply the service providers to adjust and review the service attitude, to fulfill the connotation of early intervention, and to refer to the treatment of empowerment perspective.
The researcher uses the “homogeneous sampling” to select ten suitable interviewees. By one to one in-depth interviews, the researcher collects their individually experience of access resources, and generalize their resources contexts in the ecological systems; besides, analyzes the key happenings to affect their individually experiences of access resources.
The main findings in the research are as followed,
To begin with, the powerlessness of poor family in the experience of access formal resources involve three aspects which empowerment perspective accent. First, image of the individual aspect - "the mood, the economy, and the information deficiently just like in all directions lightning is oppressing family", presents each individual family contexts to affect the condition of access resources. Second, image of the interpersonal aspect - "assistant? gunner? or murderer?", expresses the attitude and the role of service providers are really affecting family’s experience of access resources and the demand satisfies, as well as result the following effect that change family’s confidence and motion to access resources. Third, image of the social(large environment) aspect - "is appropriate? immediate? or the fight?" ,presents the social welfare, and the policy are as hindrance to family, as well as let family feel the predicament that they are rejected and excluded from social welfare.
In addition, the finding of the access and consciousness of internal and informal resources contains: First, image of the internal aspect - "the parents, the child, and their relationship has related the energy unfolds cannot be belittled", this energy let family overcome the difficulty, reframe the significance of difficult position, and has unfolded the energy of access formal resources. Second, image of the external aspect, the strengths part is " the informal resources lines outline the important resources network of family ", for some families, the assistance of informal resources sometimes outclass formal resources; Otherwise, if such resources network does not exist, or even though is the existence but actually causes the damage, it will have the negative influence regarding the formal resources access. Moreover, the researcher also present the image -"the interaction of formal resources and the informal resources will be the dynamic process", displays such interaction and the correlation may provide the reference to the service provider to understand and the assess family.
Based on the research finding, the researcher proposes the suggestions about the empowerment perspective and early intervention. Besides, the researcher discusses the restriction of the research and the suggestion for future research on this topic.
