This study used the single-subject experimental design. The independent variable was getting the progressive addition lens. The dependent variable was the reading speed. The data were analyzed by using the visual analysis, and the C statistic. The following conclusions were obtained from the results: 1. Getting the progressive addition lens to promote reading speed has better effect who was the students with mental retardation in vocation high school. 2. The students with mental retardation to get the progressive addition lens have the feeling which was best.
