Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣體育大學(桃園) === 體育研究所 === 96 === The purposes of this study were to examine the relationship between exercise participation and happiness, and examine the difference of exercise participation and happiness on demographic variables. Participants were 749 elementary school teachers. Data were analyzed by t-test, one way ANOVA and Pearson correlation. The main findings were as followed:
1. There was significant gender difference on exercise participation, while the happiness did not.
2. There was no significant age difference on exercise participation and happiness.
3. There was significant marriage status difference on exercise participation, while the happiness did not.
4. There was no significant educational attend difference on exercise participation and happiness.
5. There was significant gender difference on exercise participation, while the happiness did not.
6. There was no significant occupational status difference on exercise participation and happiness.
7. There was no significant teaching experience difference on exercise participation and happiness.
8. High exercise participants were happier than low exercise participants.
