The CNTP scale was used to explore the views of 71 PMHNs and their supervisors. And, the Organizational rewards scale, and Individual characteristics scale were used for data collection. Data were analysis by using descriptive statistics, student’s t-test, paired t-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffe’s posteriority comparison, Pearson’s correlation, Spearman rank order correlation coefficient, multiple regression and Sobel test. Major findings of this study were as follows: (1). The PMHNs’ clinical nursing task performance between proficiency and high proficiency with no significant difference (t = -.66, p = .51) in statistics which was approved by the PMHNs’ self-evaluation and their supervisors’ evaluation. (2) The degree of PMHNs’ needs of organizational rewards toward work performance (M = 202.54, SD = 30.73), was higher than the satisfaction of organizational rewards (M = 178.55, SD = 24.37) finding that there was a significant difference in statistics (t = 6.83, p<.001). (3) The PMHNs’ individual variables (age, work experience, the level of educational) and the variables of needs and satisfaction of organizational rewards could explain effectively 27 % of variance (F(5,65) = 6.38, p<.001) for the CNTP. Moreover, the educational level and the needs of organizational rewards were two significant predictors of the PMHNs’ task performance. In other words, this study has suggested that medical organization should apply actively the strategy of organizational rewards is helpful to promote the PMHNs’ task performance.
