Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東科技大學 === 機械工程系所 === 96 === This research analyzes the influence on output effects of blade number of a centrifugal pump. According to the size of the pump’s impeller, the number of blades used can be decided by engineering empirical method. The 3D physical model can be constructed and following meshed (discretized) by Gambit, and the flowfield can be solved by FLUENT. Once the flowfield is solved, the pump efficiency, required power, pressure distribution…etc, can be determined. The results of CFD simulation shows that when the pump speed is set at 1450rpm, the flow rate of the 7-blade pump reach the highest(maximum) efficiency 74.43%.
