Summary: | 碩士 === 國立屏東科技大學 === 生物機電工程系所 === 96 === The research was to set up a signal measuring system, which can precede the analysis of Photoplethysmography(PPG) signal. There were two purposes for the research applying the system. First was to study the correlation between the internal concealed signal of the PPG and the physiological phenomenon. Second was to study the relation between the PPG signal and the atherosclerosis. In the study, the primitive PPG signal was split to several characteristic signals through the Empirical Mode Decomposition(EMD) , then the method of the Fast Fourier Transform was applied to acquire spectrum which can find the signal relating to the heartbeat and the respiration frequency. According to the experiment result, the physiological phenomenon of respiration was successfully found from the characteristic signals which were, through EMD, transferred from the primitive PPG signal. Meanwhile, the Stiffness Index (SI) and the Reflection Index (RI) of atherosclerosis could be found by the measurement of the artery pulse signal collected by the single-finger detection. Compared to the hfPWV and the ABI which are using for the clinical diagnosis on atherosclerosis, the experiment result showed the SI strong correlating to the hfPWV by statistical factor 0.862. The study demonstrated the PPG signal measurement system had strong correlation with hfPWV which is applied for clinical diagnosis on atherosclerosis. So, the system can be for the early stage check tool to diagnose atherosclerosis.
