The researcher applied questionnaire inquiry for conducting the research. The questionnaire of “School Principals’ Strategies of Knowledge Management and Teachers’ Commitment to the Organization” is designed to understand the current status, differences, and correlation between school principals’ strategies of knowledge management and teachers’ commitment. The subjects of this study are primary schoolteachers in Kaohsiung City. The researcher sent 595 copies of the questionnaire and collected 571 copies back. There were 528 valid copies. The researcher obtained the conclusions stated as follows: 1. On the subject of primary schools principals’ strategies of knowledge management, terms of “knowledge creation” and “knowledge application” performed the best. “Sources of knowledge” and “knowledge sharing” were dissatisfactory. 2. On the subject of elementary schoolteachers’ commitment to the organization, “willingness of endeavor” was the most significant term; both “identification with the organization” and “tendency of working stability” performed satisfactorily. 3. Aged teachers who have more experiences have a better awareness on principals’ knowledge management and a higher awareness on teachers’ commitment to the organization. 4. Teachers who also take the position of the division directors have stronger commitment to the organization; their awareness on principals’ knowledge management is also stronger. 5. Teachers’ awareness on teachers’ commitment to the organization differentiate from genders. 6. As compared to teachers in large-sized schools, teachers in mid-sized schools commonly have stronger awareness on principals’ strategies of “knowledge share” and “knowledge application.” 7. The correlation between primary school principals’ strategies of knowledge management and schoolteachers’ commitment to the organization stays close. When principals’ have better strategies of knowledge management, the schoolteachers’ commitment to the organization is stronger as well. 8. Primary school principals’ strategies of knowledge management can effectively explain schoolteachers’ commitment to the organization, specifically on “knowledge creation.” As a conclusion, the study results will be references for all Bureau of Education’s administrative organizations and primary school principals.
