Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東教育大學 === 資訊科學系 === 96 === Recent advances in micro manufacture technology have enabled the development of low-cost, low-power, multifunctional sensor nodes that are small in size for wireless communication. How to use limited power resources to extend the network lifetime has become an important issue in this field. In wireless sensor network (WSN), sensor nodes deliver the collected data back to the sink using multiple-hop routing paths. This paper proposed an Energy-aware Power-Level Control routing (EPLC) mechanism for wireless sensor networks. The algorithm uses four power levels to adjust the sensing and transmission range of sensor nodes. Both minimum hop and maximum available power routes are considered to achieve load balancing. Finally, sleep and wakeup mechanism is implemented to further extend the lifetime of the network. Simulation results show that our algorithm outperform previous results.
