The research method used in this research is questionnaire survey. Graduate students from eight universities having education programs in Kaohsiung and Pingtung Counties were hired as subjects. The full study obtained 435 respondents, with a return rate of 83.65%. The research instrument includes the following sections: background of the subject, the pressure source of graduate students, and the emotion management of the graduate student. Data analysis methods include t-test, one-way ANOVA and posterior comparison, Pearson product-moment correlation, and multiple regression analysis. The conclusions are summarized as follows: 1. Perceived pressure level of graduate students is medium, with “learning pressure” to be the highest, and “economic pressure” to be the lowest. 2. Graduate students have an upper middle level of emotion management, with “the emotion realize” to be the highest and “the emotion expression” to be the lowest. 3. Pressure sources of graduate students differ significantly by their age, school category, marital status, and job situation. 4. Significant difference in emotion management exists among graduate students at different age. 5. Significant correlation exists between graduate students’ pressure source and emotion management. 6. Graduate students’ personal background and emotion management can predict its pressure sources. According to research results, implications for counselors in the office of student affairs and future research directions are provided.
