碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 視覺傳達設計研究所 === 96 === In recent years the domain picture book in Taiwan's development, regardless in forms, contents, drawing styles…and so on, has been in full flourish. In the meantime, under the global impact, Taiwan is now facing a tough challenge about the cultural preservation.The Artist,Author, I had research to stand for creators in the body for Taiwan to create sketchbooks with Taiwanese style and take advantage of this to establish my own style of drawings. The concrete research results are gained through the first chapter of introduction, the second chapter of the discussion about literary materials, and the style analysis of famous experts in the third chapter. Concerning the discussion part related to literary materials, the development to picture books and its relationship with children literature lies a more explicit cognition and thorough analysis or understanding to Taiwanese culture by stages as well. Through the style analysis of the famous picture book experts, I absorb experiences on the basis of their creative efforts and grasp the key point and the value in the predecessors. According to the above research harvest obtained and under coordination of publishing house, the actual picture books are born. The flow of creation is defined clearly, carrying on three different subjects of creations respectively―“Love in the Shiaowa”, “Liao Tian-ding”, “Rice Field In the Wind.” In the end, with the discussion of literary materials and the creation achievement, I present the creation elaboration, the detailed introduction and conclusion of works to show the inspiration and comments attained in this research and the creation process.
