This study adopts judgment sampling and through E-mail or friend’s introduction, and invites counseling and guidance related counselors with professional license and graduated in related fields with Master or Doctor degree. In addition, those who were counselors with self-recognized the parentified experience and now still doing the job in the counseling profession were also invited. There were a total of four of them and proceeding with semi-structured in-depth interviews. The methodology of this research is based on hermeneutic phenomenology, and takes the thematic approach in text analysis to restore the essence of the experience phenomena. After interpreting in-depth meaning and joined with concurrence from the participants playing interchangeable roles, this research summarized six common themes as follow:1.Unstable of family and rigid regulation which prohibit emotional exchanges between parents and children;2.Burdened with home chores but locked within the internal struggles and yearnings (although the self is caught between the home role for the self and the real self);3.In the aftermath of saving others, sorted out the boundary and exhibited self strength;4.Free from constrains of traditional roles and filial piety and looking for a way out;5.Recognized the ripples caused by parentifiication unto counseling profession;6.Regained the true self after self-awareness. After summarizing the findings of this research, the researcher is to propose concrete suggestions for the future in regard to counselor’s parentified self cares, institution for cultivating counseling profession and the parent profession education. 甘桂安 2008 學位論文 ; thesis 311 zh-TW
