In this study, the researcher focused on the relationships among the following variables:adolescents’ background, self consciousness, parental rearing patterns, peer relations, and creativity proneness . There are 1711 sampled from 8th graders of public junior high schools, 11th graders of public senior high schools, and juniors of universities in Kaohsiung and Pingtung areas. “Solitude Scale” including “Loneliness Subscale “ and “Aloneness Subscale “, “Parental Rearing Patterns Scale “, “Self-consciousness Scale “, “Creativity Proneness Test“, and “Sociometric Test “ were given to the subjects. Statistic analysis was conducted by using independent t-test, MANOVA, Pearson’s correlation, canonical correlation, and stepwise multiple regression analysis. The main findings of this study are as follows: 1. The girls’ solitude was higher than the boys’. 2. The loneliness of lower grade students was higher than high grade students and the aloneness of high grade students was higher than low grade students. 3. The students whose family’s weak tendency and under neglectful or indulgent parenting style had highest loneliness. 4. The students with inferior position at school felt more loneliness. 5. The students with low self-consciousness felt most loneliness and aloneness. 6. Self-consciousness and loneliness had the highest correlation. 7. High- aloneness but low-loneliness students inclined to most high creativity proneness; Creativity Proneness Test and Aloneness Subscale had a higher correlation. 8. Self-consciousness was the most influential factor on loneliness while the loneliness and self-consciousness influence creativity proneness the most. Based on the findings, suggestions are provided for reference on parental education, school consultation, administration, and future studies respectively. 張酒雄 謝季宏 2008 學位論文 ; thesis 237 zh-TW
