Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 成人教育研究所 === 96 === In view of more and more of the female ministers have acceded to leaders of Christianity Church. The purpose of this study is to make a thorough inquiry about the course of serving God of four female ministers of Taiwan via in-depth interviews. How did female ministers give the consideration to the function of church, their marriage and family lives? How did female ministers obtain the leadership by showing their leadership style to execute the duty of church affairs and performance? How did the female ministers adapt their life to the new position and their performance? They exert their gentle leadership styles during the process of serving God. . The analysis results are as follows. 1. 3 of the 4 female ministers came from families of Taiwan traditional religion. After perceiving the love and calling of the Lord Jesus Christ, then the ministers decided to serve God fulltime. 2. Their families were led into Christianity by themselves, and their children and families identify or serve with them, too. 3. All of the four female ministers lead their believers by seeking the guidance from God and put the inspiration into practice in daily life. Besides, they also make use of interpersonal concern, organization learning, partnership participation, servant leadership, transformational leadership and paternalistic leadership on church affairs. 4. The satisfying aspects of the life and career of the four female ministers are (1) The more they are into God, the more they love people. (2) Their horizons were broadened and their leadership was upgraded. (3) Their interests and specialty answered the calling of God. The aspects needing improvement are (1)The coordination between their marriage and career. (2)The unfair treatment from the church toward female ministers. (3) The performance on management of the churches. (4) Emotion management. The pressure caused by the four female ministers’ roles in their work are (1) The limits in serving God because of their gender. (2) The contradiction between their gender and the roles as leaders. (3) The frustration and harms brought by negative language. Conclusions and recommendations were also drawn based on the research results.
