Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 成人教育研究所 === 96 === Abstract This study aims to analyze and explore the M. A. thesis concerning digital-learning in Taiwan in the years 2000-2006 in terms of its academic fields, research themes, research goals, research methods, research areas, statistical methods and so on. By this, we can understand their characteristics and differences. The method of this study is content's method of analysis; the research tool is my self-edited, “Content’s Analysis Log-in Chart of the M. A. Thesis on Digital-learning in Taiwan in the years of 2000-2006,” which is used to access the study tool’s expert content validity and reliability, from National Central Library and Electronic Theses and Dissertations System, thematically about Digital learning, On-line Learning, Web-based Learning. From these resources, we use them to analyze the data by their frequency and percen-tile calculation. My result is that the sum of the thesis about digital learning is 593 items and my sample that allows download is 185 items. This study discovers as follows: I. The number of thesis: in terms of the school, the thesis of the national universities offers best quality; in terms of the academic fields, the mathematics and the computer sciences predominate; the number of the thesis concerning the two disciplines annually grows. II. Disciplines: The “mathematics and computer sciences” and “education” are two major disciplines exploring the digital learning; yet the number of the two dis-ciplines does not, however, grow, but it remains unchanged annually. III. Research themes: most theses dominantly examine the course service, a theme which obviously and steadily grows. IV. Research goals: most theses dominantly examine the application study, a theme which significantly grows and takes the lead. V. Research subjects: most theses dominantly examine the supporting websites, in which the topic concerning course information steadily grows, particularly on the research subject in the two years; course service to study develop best and, annually, the research on supporting websites steadily remains unchanged. VI. Research methods: most theses dominantly examine the questionnaire survey, in which the course information has significant difference. For each year, they mainly investigate the questionnaire survey, without much difference. More re-searches are influenced by the qualitative and quantitative researches, which tend to have variations. The qualitative research tends to adopt questionnaire survey in the early days and then, experimentation method, and now, action re-searches. VII. Research areas: in terms of percentage, the number of the thesis significantly grows in the Southern Taiwan, but remains unchanged in the Northern Taiwan. VIII. Research tools: the tool of “correction and borrowing” predominates the per-centage, yet the publication number of the thesis remains unchanged annually. IX. Statistical methods: most theses dominantly examine frequency and percentile calculation and the number annually grows. The statistical methods that tend to investigate on more than two statistical methods annually grow; the researches on the frequency and percentile calculation does not, however, tend to remain unchanged. Above all, the researcher provides the following suggestions in terms of the further researches and future researchers. I. For the further researches on digital learning: A. Focus on the growth of the digital learning topics and research object in order to enrich the field of digital learning. B. Implement and combine the theory of the fundamental learning theory and practice in order to amplify its ultimate efficiency. C. Foster the application of research methods and statistical methods in order to enhance research efficiency. II. For the future researchers: A. Analyze the thesis or dissertation in different disciplines and amplify the re-search objects. B. The research institutions take the lead and model to establish better research repository. C. Publish various digital learning papers, and disseminate the new knowledge about digital learning. D. Focus on the digital intellectual property and social distribution. E. Focus on the main developmental points of the digital learning technology in the future. F. Continue researches on digital learning and its growth as well as its develop-ments.
