Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 工業科技教育學系 === 96 === The purpose of this study was to develop an on-line assessing system, which adopted graphic cards or text cards as mediums and the drag-and-drop approach as the main method for processing. This tool could not only replace the traditional printed cards, but also be applied to great number of participants at the same time and show the analyzed information quickly. By the discussion of literatures, and the consideration for the executable way of programming, this tool adopt the method of defining concepts, which was proposed by Merrill, Tennyson and Posey in 1992, as the foundation for designing the database of technology concepts, and the way for retrieving technology concepts. Moreover, an objective and programming-suitable subject was choose from the literature of technology education for the administration of this tool. Besides, this tool adopt the concept learning levels proposed by Klausmeier (1985) to design four activities which correspond to the levels. And the content of these online activities are automatically and randomly arranged according to the database and the related settings. The prototyping development approach was applied in this study. The developing procedures of prototyping approach included analysis, design, implementation, and evaluation. By gaining the feedback from users, the developer can employ to modify existing requirements as well as developing new ones. The tool was constructed by JavaScript, DOM, PHP and MySQL, and evaluated by users, web stress test and the network loading evaluation. The members of user evaluation were junior high school and elementary school students who took the online activities twice with an interval of one month, to evaluate the real performance and regularity of this tool. Besides, teachers could get reports that produced automatically by the system according to the records of students’ activities. Web stress test was done by the web stress software that simulated the actions of specific account of users, to evaluate the efficiency of the server. At last, by cooperation with a school in other city, network loading was evaluated by the monitoring software. With the assessing system, the technology teachers can understand the concepts and learning obstacles of students easily, and the quality of teaching technology will be promoted. Furthermore, the model of the proposed tool can be a reference as a way for examining concepts of students.
