| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 工業科技教育學系 === 96 === This research mainly discusses the viewpoint of parents to junior high school teachers’ disciplinary behaviors, and analyzes the viewpoint of parents to corporal punishment after the prohibition of the Education Ministry. According to the findings, I provide some concrete proposals to the education-supervising organizations, all levels of schools, the teachers and the parents as their references. This research uses the way of questionnaire survey, by taking the parents of 1396 students of Wandan Junior High School in Pingtung County as the research objects. With the recovery of 988 valid questionnaires, I analyzed them truly and evidently and got a conclusion as follow: 1. Parents expect the teachers’ proper involvement to discipline those students who had bad behavior outside school. 2. Parents highly admitted that teachers uses punishment to discipline students. 3. Parents think that teachers should discipline students with a positive attitude. 4. Teachers should keep in touch and communicate more with parents and make both sides understand the situation of students inside and outside school. Thus, both sides could avoid the gap and misunderstanding in disciplining. 5. More than 80% parents approved the “in-school suspension room” to be established.
