碩士 === 國立高雄第一科技大學 === 運籌管理所 === 96 === This paper is to investigate the relationship between the intellectual capital and the performances of the Navy Logistics Departments in Taiwan. After literature review, we classified the intellectual capital into three constructs: human capital, structural capital and relational capital. Since there are many variables in each of the construct, we performed factor analysis to reduce variables belonging to each construct individually into factors and obtained 3 factors for the human capital construct, 3 for the structural capital construct , 2 for the relational capital construct and 2 for the performances construct. We further performed PLS (partial least squares) analysis to study the relationship between the three constructs of the intellectual capital and the performances. Results show that the three constructs have positive effects on the performances. Besides, the human capital construct has positive effects on the structural capital construct and relational capital construct as well.
