Hence, this study not only would like to evaluate the relationships between the difficulties of executing engineering changes and the importance of engineering change management, but also to examine the relationships between the performance of engineering change management committee and enterprise performance. We developed a questionnaire through the references, and analyzed the above-mentioned relationships through factor analysis and structural equation model. Analysis results show that the construct of environmental difficulties affect the construct of time efficiency, meanwhile, customer-related difficulties are positively related with component of operation. Additionally, performances of engineering change management committee affect the competitiveness of enterprise. Findings of this study could provide researchers and companies to further understand how to use the related management tool to overcome the difficulties of executing engineering changes and to evaluate the enterprise performance effectively.
