碩士 === 國立高雄第一科技大學 === 電腦與通訊工程所 === 96 === The computer technology vigorously develops in recent years and extends into enterprise’s electronic commerce, mobilization etc. This makes enterprise rely greatly on computer. To Staff responsible for management information system, it is a very important topic to keep computer working properly and securely. Monitoring computer resource has to be estimated into three aspects: automation, convenience and instantaneity. The goal of the thesis is to rely on the web-based interface to build up the computer resource monitor system based on web interface. The network management system is based on linux hardware and software on PHP with Perl program to collect computer resource by SNMP protocol. It provides information about every computer resource usage and save data into backend MySQL database by “crontab” function. The monitoring status displays in list style by searching certain IP, certain executing programs or installed programs. Through the demonstration and testing results, this thesis proves the monitor resource system with saving management staff, provide work efficiency and prevent pirated software installation and computer virus.
