Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄第一科技大學 === 環境與安全衛生工程所 === 96 === The objective of this study was to characterize the emissions of air pollutants from indoor burning and heating sources in a large environmental test chamber. Different indoor burning sources including chafing gel-fuel, chafing solid-fuel and joss paper were tested to assess pollutants emission factors. Size distribution and number concentration of sub-micrometer-sized particles (22-429 nm) emitted from different burning sources were measured. The results showed that the particle emission rates for gel-fuel, chafing solid-fuel, joss paper (gold foil), joss paper (silver foil), joss paper (clothes), and joss paper (white-money) smoke is 0.002, 0.3, 3.6, 4, 1.9 and 3.5 (Number/g-h)×1E+13, respectively. Ultrafine particles dominated the number concentration of emitted particle from those burning sources. In addition, the major detected hazardous gaseous products detected from burning tests were xylene, benzene, toluene, formaldehyde and acetone.
