There are different temperature energy and pressure energy in LNG utilizing cold energy, the cold energy power generation use different temperature to generate power, then the different pressure power generation use different pressure to generate power and recycle LNG energy. Collecting the mainly operation parameters and relative data of the LNG cold energy and the cold energy power generation in the initial stage of study, using the simulate process software calculate and set up simulate generation power system, then study the effect factor of generation power capacity, and compared with various process procedure to produce different power capacity. Finally, it was promoted to depend on the operation safety of power generation, power capacity and economical production value, then and there are the best simulation plant due to the most suitable condition of utilizing cold energy of LNG. Firstly, the influence factors on the LNG cold energy power generation are temperature, pressure and fluid of inlet LNG, pressure of outlet LNG, LNG composition, propane composition (working fluid of system), temperature of seawater, and outlet pressure and outlet temperature of turbine etc., especially for seawater temperature is related to all system running. There are four types power generation, their average power capacity are 3200kW, 3104 kW, 3181 kW and 2290 kW respectively, the average power cost are 1.683 NT/degree, 1.710NT/degree,1.745NT/degree and 1.745 NT/degree, and the net economical output value are 16304, 19098, -22316 and 23521 thousands NT respectively. The maximun power generation was found to be 5,614 kilowatts and 72 NT dollars per each ton of LNG and hour when the LNG flow rate achieved 130 tons/hour based on simulation study. The system was able to make 74,337,000 NT dollars per year and 11 years of balance the investing in the equipment if the system was operated at the optimal conditions. This reseach will clearly point a direction for the designers and operators in the future, and let us understand the property and performing of LNG cold energy power generation LNG, to develop a new epoch in the internal energy of LNG field.
