In the last few years, the government purposes any kinds of methods such as lending an impetus for film industry with great exertion, preparing for national film cultural center, establishing film library also hatching the activities as grounded plan for the education of national films, camping for film study and research, film festival to educate people to understand film culture and how to protect film cultural property after the film, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon by Ang Lee, that is famous in the international then film is getting closed our life. The film market in Taiwan is impacted by its history background as many factors such prevalence of adoring Japanization, and film market from Japan only less than Hollywood, America. Japan itself is the powerful and active country in the economic market all over the world. Not only Taiwan but also other counties lead the elements from Japan into theirs films very often and it is full of different cultural elements from Japan by the films from Japan or elements led and it is formed a Japanese epitome, therefore, this thesis is based on the film as additional application of teaching materials for Japanese culture. There are five chapters, the writer illustrates the motivation, subject, contents and methods of this research also states beforehand study as introduction. The exercise of film, culture and education with different points of view from the relationship between film and culture or film and education is written by chapter 1 then the status of moving education in current Taiwan is described. The aim in chapter 2 is based on Japan cultural education. First of all, Japanese and Taiwanese culture education then how the film as the theory for teaching material with conception of Japanese culture education is discussed. In chapter 3, the film, “Densha Otoko”, as object of teaching material for the subject of present society in Japan, teaching with film for Japanese culture education is designed. The last chapter is included summary and prospect hereby conclusion and integration for this thesis also future topic and vision.
