碩士 === 南華大學 === 非營利事業管理研究所 === 96 === 　　With a rapid development of industries, the enormous use of land, follow a high degree of global climate change. The occurrence of floods and typhoons are increasing relatively, and so causing an increasing number of disasters. The disaster prevention, fire and disaster relief work is extremely important for a government on the part of people''s lives, property safety and social stability. 　　 　　This study investigates the Tainan County firefighter’s work pressure, the pressure source, the pressure facing the disasters and firefighting. The results can be used as a suggestion to relieve firemen pressure so that the authorities can easily manage the fire department. 　　 　　The firefighters of Tainan County Fire Department are the population of my study. It includes three brigade units with 37 subunits and a first aid station. The statistic survey includes: the distribution of frequency, factor analysis, descriptive statistical analysis, Pearson correlation analysis, the independent samples T-test, ANOVA statistical analysis and other methods of research. 　　 This study has the following findings: 1. The source of work pressure is related to: "nature of the work factor", "family factors", "career development" and "interpersonal relations". 2. Personality traits have impact on work stress and pressure. 3. Demographic variables have significant differences on the average response to pressure. 4. Excise, sleep and vacation are the best ways to relieve the pressure accordingly.
