To understand the motivation of maintaining their relationship, we can explore the interactive modes with their mates. Moreover, what is their mental affection when losing an intimate relationship and at the same time, how do they cope and adjust themselves from the losing experience? This research is conducted with in-depth interviews to collect data and the “categorical-content”approach of narrative study is adopted to analyze the interview content. Two unmarried female participants who were between 25 to 30 years old and have/had constant heterosexual intimate relationships were selected for this research. This research shows that the issues of“love and be loved”,“power game”, and “gender differences” are constantly appeared in the intimate relationships. The research results are concluded as follows: 1. The motivation behind the intimate relationship lies in mutual needs. 2. The responsibility and toleration are two main factors in keeping the intimate relationship. 3. Only effective communication can solve the clash in the intimate relationship. 4. One can carry on new life when they can really face the losing experience without fears. Yen-hui Lee 李燕蕙 2008 學位論文 ; thesis 179 zh-TW |
