The research focuses on the construction process of e-system on children’s linguistic intelligence, analysis of assessing children’s linguistic learning portfolio, and exploration of the effects of teachers’ manipulation of e-system learning portfolio assessment on children’s linguistic performance. The main research methods are action research, field observation, data compilation, and data analysis. The subjects in this study are two children. Linguistic indicators are established based on literature reviews and experts’ examination. Four core competences and sixteen linguistic indicators are concluded to design e-system assessment software. The conclusions are summarized as follows. First of all, regarding construction process of e-system on children’s linguistic intelligence, the e-system on children’s linguistic intelligence must be established based on linguistic indicators and assessment criteria. The e-system on children’s linguistic intelligence helps better understanding of children’s linguistic learning. However, the e-system on children’s linguistic intelligence has its limitation. Secondly, in term of analysis of assessing children’s linguistic learning portfolio, children’s linguistic learning portfolio can be used as a basis for establishing the e-system on children’s linguistic intelligence. Children’s linguistic learning portfolio can reveal children’s linguistic improvement, progress, and individual children’s performance. Multimedia should be included in assessing children’s linguistic learning portfolio.
