Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立東華大學 === 生物技術研究所 === 96 === This thesis reported a novel method for fabricating Lab-on-a-CD based on the platform of CD-Recording technology. Through the use of photoresist SU-8 in the indirect thermo-cured method, a protocol of cocktail approach of multiple-dye systems was developed. The preliminary results showed the Lab-on-a-CD fabricated by CD-Recorder was first reported by our group at WSEAS Transactions on Electronics in 2004. In this work, the compound prescription that SU-8 mixed with Cyanine was adopted in fabrication of microstructures. Mapping and LightScribe softwares were used to expose and design the Transparent Media Adapter (TMA). Through various examinations with spectroscopic studies, optical and scanning probe microscopic investigations, and thermoanalyses, it showed that the microstructures was indeed made by SU-8. It demonstrated that fabricating Lab-on-a-CD on CD-R by using CD-Recording technology would be advantageous in fast prototyping and low quantity production. The experimental results presented in this thesis suggested the extension of this method to the photoresists other than SU-8 in microfluidic systems might be a possible alternatives.
