Summary: | 碩士 === 國立嘉義大學 === 土木與水資源工程學系研究所 === 96 === The status of drainage channels along Liu-Jia road, south line 118, Liu-Jia Township in Tainan County are earth canals or grouted riprap revetments. Due to the weeds are overgrown at the sides of revetments and the drainage channels are deposited with the silt, the flood drainage are seriously influenced. Whenever heavy rain, the flood in the drainage channel often overflowed into the neighbor regions and it causes serious losses of local residents.
To find the causes of inundation in the investigate region, the status of topography and hydraulic structures, the hydrological data, and the inundated regions around the drainage region were collected and analyzed. The SWMM model and MODHMS model were used to simulate the status of flood capacity and the inundation depth and area at the drainage region. The results show that the causes of inundation in the drainage region are (1) the profile of the status of flood capacity is not enough; (2) the slope in the channel is complexity; (3) the inlet of flood-diversion sluice is closed; (4) the flood of 25 return years cannot be sluices out at the sluice gate in Wa-Yao-Pi reservoir.
Then, according to the causes of inundation in the drainage region, four strategies of improved drainage measures were drawn and simulated by the inundated model. The results show that the D strategy for improving inundation in the drainage region is the best, and it is feasible on the economic benefits.
