Quantitative survey was adopted in this research. Questionnaires were administered to 262 school teachers and parents, with which 258 responded, resulting in a 96% responding rate. The results were as follows: 1. Principal's role expectation and role performance perceived by teachers were significantly different. 2. Principal's role expectation and role performance perceived by parents were significantly different. 3. Principal's role expectation and role performance perceived by parents as well as teachers were significantly different. 4.
