Studies on the main chemical composition of extracts of Aquilaria sinensis grown in Taiwan

碩士 === 國立嘉義大學 === 農學研究所 === 96 === The leaves, the xylem and the bark of Aquilaria sinensis grown in Taiwan were soaked in methanol in order to gain the cold extract. After reducing pressure concentration treatment, the filtrate obtained through this process removed the solvent. The extract gained through TLC then derived a compound from purification. NMR and FTIR were then used to authenticate the compound’s ingredient and structure. New discoveries were made from a six year-old domestically sown tree in south Taiwan, Aquilaria sinensis. Aristophyll-C and N-trans-Feruloyltyramine were discovered dividedly as the leaves and xylem and the latter main chemical composition for Amides. This natural discovery is an original for Aquilaria sinensis. New discoveries were made from a five year-old domestically sown tree in north Taiwan, Aquilaria sinensis. Methylpa- raben was discovered as the xylem and main chemical composition for Aromatic. This natural discovery is an original for Aquilaria sinensis.
