Summary: | 碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 機電工程學系 === 96 === In recent years, the components to construct computer vision systems have also become affordable and widely available. This thesis mainly focuses on the image sensor for a research of range finder system. We integrated the image processing and laser targeting two technologies for this distance measurement system. It is a kind of non-contact measurement to evaluate the distance. We used an Image sensor to detect a Laser point then a Labview program is used to get photo, analyze and calculate the image data. The applications of triangulation are under proper mathematical manipulation to derive a distance and image sensor photo relationship. We can find an analytic formula that we can transform the image sensor data to a correct distance.
For this image sensor range finder system, factors which will cause mistakes and errors are checked and analyzed. In this research, we tried to change different wavelengths of Laser and different pixel of Image sensors. At the same time, we also used different material of target, different illumination of intensity and minimum size of target to look for any factor that will affect this image sensor range finder system. The proposed image distance system is under test and analyzed which has been proven to be practical and efficient.
