By using the program environment, the sequential control and motion control can be integrated and then composed into varies of functions. In positioning system, the UVW platform is used with CCD (Charge Coupled Device) to correct the position of polarizer. Thus low particle, low maintenance, high positioning accuracy are achieved in the main design concepts. By changing the attachment platform (set table) into two modules, the film attachment and removal can be done at the same time which reduces tact time significantly. The other important purpose for this research is to figure out the most optimized parameter for polarizer and then provides the competitive price between semi-automatic and automatic large size polarizer lamination machines. This research has established a portfolio for the small size in LCD industry. Hopefully by doing this research, it can establish the ability of localized, home made equipment manufacturers in the near future.
