By taking advantage of each language benefits in order to obtain a complicate control program, Borland C++ Builder is used as a servo human-machine interface program and AOI (Automatic Optical Inspection, AOI) image processing program was provided using a MATLAB toolbox. First, a reasonable process of edge detection is presented, Using multi-language technique can develop the image processing program easily to find the edge of a pattern. Next, the correlation matching technique is applied to find the template position in AOI system.
