Based on image gray level, the infrared energy radiated by high surface temperature can be detected, so heat distribution difference caused by tube flaws can be revealed and the temperature can also be calculated. Gray level influenced by external illumination or surface color can be corrected through image processing. Thus, through contactless full-range temperature detection, creep rupture of tubes under high temperature can be identified and the surface temperature can also be measured.
