Physical signal parameter of supervised terminal can be monitored real time and recorded daily without inferring their normal life. To achieve the goal of telemedicine, remote monitoring and online consultation are possible via electrocardiogram and temperature measurement. The module of analogs electric circuit measure is taken to estimate physiological signal. Measured signal is carried out by the module of single chip microprocessor and analog to digital converter, and it is transmitted to the monitoring computers in terms of wireless transmission interface. This design is portable-oriented which includes, small volume, light weight; convenience, low power consumption, and capability of signal processing are taken into consideration.
This thesis also establishes a monitoring and controlling system based on Internet and historical database. The monitoring interface of Internet is constructed of LabVIEW and Visual Basic. Monitoring websites can be constituted by inner network server or software of Internet Information Services. This system combines with the construction of Active Server Pages to provide for boundless services. The condition of patients without health care givers and occurrences of emergency will be notified by auto-sent short message. Therefore, medical assistances can be provided by health care givers immediately.
