Summary:碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 電機工程學系 === 96 === The ranking of exported vertical machining centers made in Taiwan is No.4-5 in recent years, but the main areas where these machines sold to are mostly undeveloped countries or entry level products. The purpose of this study is to upgrade the quality and design of the machines. The results will upgrade the vertical machining center in old dovetail-ways and box–way to high speed linear method. By applying the method in this research, it will be easier to use the machine by linear design. The machine has high speed axis cutting speed and high speed spindle. The high remove-rate cutting technology can upgrade the cutting capability, by the same technology, the machine can be improved and create more profit
