Summary:碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 資訊管理學系所 === 96 === Our government had announced that year 2001 was “the starting year for promoting a knowledge and economy society”, and it has been four years since Changhua county government engaged in the information technology educational project through cultivating information technology seeding teachers and developing information technology collaborating clubs. However, does it really improve the knowledge managing ability and professional performances for school teachers in the county with so many activities in information technology education? The purpose of this study is to understand the personal knowledge management status and the professional performance contents among the elementary school teachers in Changhua County and study the inter relationship between the two topics in hope to present useful suggestions basing on to the findings of the research and the practical experience of the researcher to the practice and management of personal knowledge among school teachers or the administration in charge.The findings of the research suggest: 1. The elementary school teachers in Changhua County practice good personal knowledge management and professional performance. 2. Different personal backgrounds among elementary school teachers result in different recognition toward personal knowledge management. 3. Different personal backgrounds among elementary school teachers bring different recognition about professional performance but differences in the sizes of the schools cause no difference on that. 4. The practice of personal knowledge management among elementary school teachers not only influences but also improves their professional performance. keywords:knowledge management, professional performance, elementary school teacher.
