Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 會計學系企業高階管理 === 96 === The development of information technology has pushed the public service of the government to the era of e-government services. To meet customers’ needs and satisfaction, the government has to evaluate the quality of its electronic platform and update it regularly, which could make it become a more convenient and efficient interface. The study first illustrates the concept of e-government by reviewing literature, and then examines the website design of the United Service Center (Center Taiwan), Ministry of Economic Affairs in Taiwan. Using content analysis and questionnaire survey methods, this study surveys service objects of the website, including small and medium enterprises and citizens, about their viewpoints of the degrees of satisfaction and the degrees of needs to current website services and potential new services that will be provided on the website in the future. The results show that most website services have achieved high degrees of satisfaction and needs, suggesting current website services meet respondents’ expectations of e-government services. Potential services are suggested to be integrated on the website based on the high needs from our results. We also suggest delete irrelevant items which don’t meet users’ need. The research results of this study can not only contribute to e-government literature but also provide government improvement basis of how to increase/improve its website service by using e-government service mechanism.
