This research aims at understanding that the staff’s job characteristics and employee’s engagement in Hi-Tech industry may affect the staff’s innovative behavior. Further, respect the mediating effects of employee’s engagement. The research mainly used questionnaire, and there were 308 paper questionnaires sent to people. Besides,internet surveys were also used at the same time, and Total number of surveys returned was 284, with 66.2% valid return rate. This research assays with the independent sample t-test, the one-factor ANOVA and regression analysis.The result showed: 1. The staff of Hi-Tech industry mostly own many kinds of skills, work without bothering by the external world and can practice the innovative idea; 2.The staff of Hi-Tech industry relatively have cognition to the job characteristics respect long for the executive, working age and service seniority; 3,The staff of Hi-Tech industry, that man, elder, married ,working age and service seniority are longer or executive, all have better cognition in innovative behavior; 4. Hi-Tech industry staff’s job characteristics have positive influence to employee’s engagement; 5.Hi-Tech industry employee’s engagement has positive influence to innovative behavior; 6. Hi-Tech industry staff’s job characteristics have positive influence to theinnovative behavior; 7.Hi-Tech industry employee’s engagement has intermediary result on influence to innovative behavior in job characteristics. At last, propose suggestion according to result of study, providing reference basis when enterprises want to improve staff's innovative behavior that for the future.
