The research instrument was composed of three questionnaires:1.the Personal Profile for students,2.the Servant-leadership Behaviors Questionnaire(SLBQ),3.the Servant-leadership Effectiveness Questionnaire(SLEQ).
Both SLBQ and SLEQ were revised by scholars and tested by item analysis. The cronbach′s α was .964 and .897.The validity
and reliability of both questionnaires were acceptable.
The data was analyzed by descriptive statistics and a number of inferential statistical techniques such as t-test,
one-ANOVA, Pearson, and stepwise multiple regression. The results were as follows:
1.The leadership effectiveness of the homeroom teachers′ servant-leadership behavior at alternative class was middle.Among them, the students′ satisfaction with the servant-leadership was the highest, and the goal of the alternative class was the lowest.
2.There were no significant difference among all aspects in terms of the perception of the alternative class students to the homeroom teachers′ servant-leadership behavior on different background variable.
3.There was significant difference for the perception of the leadership effectiveness of the alternative class′s goal between 「school environment」 and「other」 background variable students.
4.There were low-middle positive correlations between servant-leadership and leadership effectiveness at the alternative class in junior high school.
