This study adopted the literature review and questionnaire survey as major research methods. The target samples were students of electronics and computer technology related departments from eight vocational high schools in the Ilan, Hualien, and Taitung counties in 2006. The subjects in this study were selected randomly. Six major findings and conclusions were described as follows: 1.The subjects were positively influenced by Skill Tests and demonstrated active learning behaviors, regardless of their backgrounds. 2.On the whole, college-bound students performed superior to the subjects who looked for employment after graduation. 3.As to learning behaviors and the emphasis level of Skill Tests, the subjects of the computer science department were superior to the subjects of the electronics department. 4.For the emphasis degree of Skill Tests, parents with education level of high school, junior college and university were stronger than parents with post-baccalaureate education level. 5.On the whole, the subjects from private vocational senior high schools were superior to the subjects from public ones. 6.In terms of learning enthusiasm, learning attitudes, and the emphasis degree of Skill Tests, the subjects from urban areas scored higher than the subjects from rural areas.
