As many researchers find that unbalance of work and family results in low job satisfaction, decreasing organization commitment, and even poor work performance. In the other side, the literature about workplace spirituality has suggested that it can help people have better ability of coping with pressure, be more satisfied in life. Thus, present research tries to find the path through which workplace spirituality affect work family balance. Besides, based on positive spillover perspective, in order to figure out how workplace spirituality may positively affect work family balance, we explored work identity, family identity, work family enrichment, and family work enrichment as mediators. Present research took bank employees as research population, sampling 45 branches of local banks. There were 560 respondents and we had 356 valid samples. We used confirmatory factor analysis to test the qualities of our measurements. LISREL ver.8.71 was used for structure equation modeling to test our hypotheses. After hypothesis testing, we figured out: 1.workplace spirituality directly affected work identity, and the relationship between work identity and work family balance was positively mediated by work family enrichment; 2. workplace spirituality directly affected family identity, and the relationship between family identity and family work balance was positively mediated by family work enrichment. The implications of present study were: 1.Companies should develop a spirituality-friendly environment for employees to achieve work family balance; 2. Leaders should raise the work identity and family identity in order to improve employees’ well being; 3.Developing a family supportive culture that is necessary for employees to have enrichment occurred.
