In my thesis, we used Lulin one-meter telescope to observe. To understand the properties of supernovae, our observation strategy is divided into “discovery” and “follow-up”. Since 2003, Taiwan supernovae survey has discovered 15 new supernovae. I choose type Ib/c supernovae, which are the end stage of massive stars, to do follow-up observations. SN 2006jc had a big out-burst before its explosion. We observed its magnitude decay in B band is slower than other normal supernovae. SN 2008D is the first supernova detected by X-ray satellite. We have the earliest optical observations for supernova explosion. In future, I will keep on research type Ib/c supernovae, join the Pan-STARRS project, and use multi-wavelength observation to understand the nature of supernovae.
