Summary:碩士 === 國立中央大學 === 化學研究所 === 96 === New red luminescent iridium compounds have been synthesized. These compounds undergo cyclometalation with iridium trichloride to formiridium (III) complexes which exhibit strong phosphorescence. The photophysical and electrochemical properties of these compounds were investigated. The absorption wavelength of these complexes range from 622 nm~ 658 nm, and the quantum yield range from 0.35~0.52. In the future, electroluminescent devices will fabricate from selected diridium complexes, and we will measure the physical property of these devices.
