This study sets inside the IC design company, assuming the upper layer unit (Sales Dept.) changes its requests to the lower layer unit (Production Control Dept.) according to the customer demand as time passed by. With such kind of outsourcing and fabless (non-owned factories) manufacture in the IC design industry, this study will explore the impact of the company’s cost and inventory, on different levels of information sharing and decision-making coordination of the integrated strategy, based on the existing production capacity and decentralized decision-making.
