| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立交通大學 === 管理學院碩士在職專班管理科學組 === 96 === In this paper, we collect 87 public firms in Twaiwan Semiconductor industry from 2001 to 2006. To collect the patent data as the innovation ability, we investigate the impact of internal elements such us Company size, Export ration, and RD ration. Further, infringement litigation and employee bonus are considered.
The results exhibit that both company size and RD ration are positively related to the innovation ability, also infringement litigation and employee bonus system will significantly conduce innovation output. The companies should deliberate how to increase the internal elements that could encourage innovation, and how to arouse the latent energy even without the external straits.
Innovation ability is also positively related to company performance, it means to encourage invention and innovation will upgrade the company performance.
